Brasiliaite is a natural gemstone often referred to as one of the “Three Great Gems Discovered in the 20th Century,” alongside tanzanite and sinhalite.
Not only is its output low, but gem-quality cut stones are also rare. Since it isn’t particularly hard, it’s considered more of a collector’s stone.
