スファレライトは硫化亜鉛の一種で、特別な鉱脈はいらず、鉛・亜鉛鉱山から採掘されます。
そのため古くから産出が確認されていましたが、あまり産業用途にも宝飾用途にも注目はされていなかったようです。また、硬度が低く(3.5~4)加工が難しいのも特徴の一つです。
スファレライトの中で最も希少とされる混グリーンを擁し、また産出も稀少産地であるブルガリアです。直径10mmの大きさと圧巻のファイアが魅力です！

Sphalerite is a type of zinc sulfide that does not require special veins and is mined from lead and zinc mines.
Therefore, although its production has been confirmed since ancient times, it seems that it has not received much attention for industrial or jewelry applications. Another characteristic is its low hardness (3.5 to 4), which makes it difficult to process.
This sphalerite contains mixed green, which is considered the rarest type of sphalerite, and it comes from Bulgaria, a rare source of sphalerite. Its 10mm diameter and spectacular fire are truly captivating!
