鉱物名、宝石名共にゾイサイト、和名を灰簾石(かいれんせき)や、ゆう簾石(ゆうれんせき)といいます。スロベニアの鉱物コレクター、ジグムント・ゾイス氏に由来して名付けられました。
前提として肉眼でちょうど良い距離で是非とも見て欲しい一石です。
そうすると実物の多色具合が半端ないです。イエロー、グレー、ブルー、グリーン、ブラウンなどたくさんの色合いが見受けられます。テリもかなり良いのでギラギラ！
The mineral and gemstone are both called zoisite, and its Japanese names are kairenseki and yuurenseki. It was named after the Slovenian mineral collector, Zygmunt Zoys.
