コモンオパールの一種ですが、ペルー産（ペルーでは国石です）の可愛らしいオパールです。
様々な内包や色が入り層のようなものになっている個体もありますが、こちらはほぼ単色。光の角度によってはシルキーなイエローも見えます。

This is a type of common opal, a lovely opal from Peru (where it is the national gemstone).
Some specimens feature various inclusions and colors layered like strata, but this one is nearly monochromatic. Depending on the angle of light, a silky yellow hue can also be seen.
