和名：天青石、天の名を冠するコレクターストーンで、その名前通りラテン語で「天」の意味を持ちます。硬度は3-3.5。
今回入ったのは世界最高品質と言われるマダガスカル産の個体で、これまた珍しい10ct UPのサイズ。
研磨は極めて難しくこの石がルースの状態で流通することは非常に稀です。白い背景でうっすらと青みも感じられます。

Japanese Name: Celestite, a collector's stone bearing the name of the heavens, true to its name meaning “sky” in Latin. Hardness: 3-3.5.
This newly acquired specimen is from Madagascar, renowned for producing the world's highest quality celestite, and is exceptionally rare at over 10 carats.
Polishing is extremely difficult, making it very rare for this stone to circulate in its rough state. A faint bluish tint can be discerned against a white background.
