Oregon Sunstone, found exclusively in mines in Oregon, USA.
Its beautiful shimmering sheen effect from copper inclusions is striking. Known in Japan as “ash feldspar,” it is also the state gemstone representing Oregon in the USA.
With a relatively soft Mohs hardness of 6 to 6.5, care is needed to avoid impact. However, when entrusted to a skilled workshop, it becomes a captivating choice for jewelry or as a loose stone for collections.
