フリントガラス（Flint Glass）とは、酸化鉛（PbO）を多く含むガラスのことです。
高い屈折率と虹の分散光を持ち、比重も重いのが特徴。ルースの状態での流通量はそう多くはなく、アンティークまたはヴィンテージジュエリーなどにセッティングされていることも多いです。一部ではダイヤモンドの代用品とも。
こちらの個体もその年代こそ不明ですが、オールドストック品です。
Flint glass is a type of glass that contains a high percentage of lead oxide (PbO).
It is characterized by its high refractive index, iridescent dispersion, and heavy specific gravity. It is not commonly found in loose form and is often set in antique or vintage jewelry. In some cases, it is used as a substitute for diamonds.
While the exact age of this piece is unknown, it is an old stock item.
