Grandidierite is one of the world’s top 10 rarest gemstones, alongside emeraldite, benitoite, and tafaite. It is surprisingly hard, with a hardness rating of 7.5.
This specimen features a somewhat rare dodecagon cut with 12 facets. While its transparency is modest, it boasts a beautiful green color. It’s also large in both size and weight!
