研磨は極めて難しくこの石がルースの状態で流通することは非常に稀です。白い背景でうっすらと青みも感じられます。
Japanese Name: Tenseiseki. A collector’s stone bearing the name of the heavens, it derives its name from the Latin word for “sky.” Its hardness is 3–3.5.
This specimen is from Madagascar, renowned for producing the world’s highest quality celestite, and its cut and proportions are exceptionally beautiful.
Polishing this stone is extremely difficult, making it very rare to find it in loose form. Against a white background, a faint bluish tint is visible.
