ハックマナイト (hackmanite) は、方ソーダ石（ソーダライト）の変種。和名はハックマン石。ロシアのコラ半島で最初に発見された。
UVライトを当てることで蛍光し、そのあと蓄光することでも知られています。
今回の個体は蓄光こそかなり微小なのですが、蛍光がとにかく強烈です！まるで石自体が発光しているかのようです。それにカナダ産という珍しい産地。
Hackmanite is a variety of sodalite. Its Japanese name is Hackman-ishi. It was first discovered on Russia’s Kola Peninsula.
It is known to fluoresce when exposed to UV light and to afterglow afterward.
While the afterglow of this specimen is quite faint, its fluorescence is incredibly intense! It looks as if the stone itself is glowing. Plus, it comes from the rare Canadian source.
