その名のとおり、透明で美しい宝石です。「七色のカラーパレットを持つ」といわれる、カラーバリエーション豊富なトルマリンの中でも、カラーレスのアクロアイトは最も知られていないトルマリンではないでしょうか。
The name "achroite" derives from the Greek word "akhroos," meaning "colorless."
True to its name, it is a beautiful, transparent gemstone. Among the wide variety of tourmalines—often described as having a "palette of seven colors"—colorless achroite is perhaps the least well-known.
