この「アパタイト」という名前はギリシア語の「騙す・策略」を意味する言葉が由来となっています。アパタイトは様々な色や結晶構成で産出されるので、アクアマリンやフローライト、トルマリンなど、色んな石と間違われたためにこの名が付いたといわれています。含有元素によって無色・ピンク・赤・黄・緑・青・紫など様々な色があります。
割合を言うならばグリーン6、ブルー4の色合い。上質なタンザニア産コーネルピンのようでもあります。
The name "apathite" originates from a Greek word meaning "to deceive" or "to scheme." Apatite occurs in various colors and crystal structures, and it is said that it got its name because it was mistaken for various stones such as aquamarine, fluorite, and tourmaline. Depending on the elements it contains, it can be colorless, pink, red, yellow, green, blue, purple, and other colors.
In terms of ratio, it is 6 parts green and 4 parts blue. It resembles high-quality Tanzanian cornelian.
