ブルーベリルは別名マシシブルーと呼ばれレアストーンとなっています。ブラジルのミナスジェライス州にあるマシシ鉱山に産したことから名付けられています。
近年見ることが少なくなりましたね。通常のアクアマリンとは明らかに異なるグレイッシュブルーの色合いで、儚く優しいこの青は他の石には見られない個性あるカラーをしています。こちらは原石からカットした無処理の個体。
Blue beryl, also known as Mashishi Blue, is a rare gemstone. It is named after the Mashishi mine in the state of Minas Gerais, Brazil, where it was discovered.
It has become increasingly rare in recent years. Its distinctively grayish-blue hue clearly sets it apart from standard aquamarine. This delicate, ethereal blue possesses a unique character unmatched by other stones. This specimen is untreated, cut directly from the rough stone.
