ドラゴンガーネットはコマーシャルネームで、この元となるマラヤガーネットは、1960年代に発見された比較的新しい宝石です。パイロープとスペッサタイトを含む成分が混ざり合うことで誕生しました。強い蛍光性を持っていることが名前の由来です。また、変色性を持つ個体もあります。
色も良くかなり強いテリを有するこの個体、ルーペで覗くと様々なインクルージョンがたくさんでこれが最大に面白いポイントかもしれません！（アパタイトインクルージョンっぽいのもおります）
Dragon Garnet is a commercial name, and the original Malaya Garnet it comes from is a relatively new gemstone discovered in the 1960s. It was created by the mixing of components including pyrope and spessartite. Its strong fluorescence is the origin of its name. Some specimens also exhibit color change.
This specimen boasts excellent color and a remarkably strong luster. Examining it under a loupe reveals numerous diverse inclusions, which might be its most fascinating feature! (Some appear to be apatite inclusions.)
