カンテラオパールとは別名メキシコオパールで「メキシコ産の母岩付き遊色効果がみられるオパール」のことです。鮮やかな虹色の遊色、母岩からの透明感ある部分はまるでサンゴ礁のような美しい景色を見せます。
「亀」の形を模したカットが施された個性的な一石です。しかも単にカットだけではなく甲羅の右上側にオパールらしい遊色が美しく出ます。
