ルビーは四大宝石の中でも「宝石の女王」と呼ばれる赤色の貴石で、コランダム（酸化アルミニウム）にクロムが混ざることで発色し、ダイヤモンドに次ぐ硬度を持ちます。また、7月の誕生石としても人気が高いです。
一般的に鉛やガラス含浸が多いルビーは、取り扱うのであれば出来れば非加熱無処理が良いとの想いがあり扱いが少なかったです…
今回の子は写真は参考程度に考えていただき、実物はかなり赤みが強いです。

Ruby is a red gemstone known as the "Queen of Gems" among the four major gemstones. Its color comes from chromium impurities in corundum (aluminum oxide), and it boasts the second-highest hardness after diamond. It is also highly popular as the birthstone for July.
Generally, rubies often contain lead or glass infusions. We preferred to handle only non-heated, untreated rubies whenever possible, which is why we carried fewer of them...
