以前はラズベリルやラズベリーベリルと呼ばれていたこともある愛の石。
ペツォッタイトは、セシウムとリチウムを含むベリルの類似鉱物で2002年11月に発見され、2003年9月に新鉱物と認定されました。発見当初はトルマリンとして、その後レッドベリル（ビクスバイト）とも混同された経緯を持つ希少石。
一般的にエメラルドなどと同じく、樹脂やオイルなどによる透明材の含浸処理が行われています。
マクロレンズですと見ての通りインクルージョンが見受けられますが、しっかりとのったサーモンピンク色の良さ、そして肉眼で見た時やお仕立て時に眺めるキラメキを重視して買い付けた一石です。
The stone of love, once known as raspberry beryl or raspberry beryl.
Pezzottaite is a beryl-like mineral containing cesium and lithium, discovered in November 2002 and recognized as a new mineral in September 2003. This rare stone was initially misidentified as tourmaline and later confused with red beryl (bixbite).
Like emeralds, it is commonly treated with resin or oil to enhance transparency.
As seen through a macro lens, inclusions are visible. However, this particular stone was selected for its rich salmon pink color and the sparkle it exhibits when viewed with the naked eye or during setting.
